We save anything solid from the existing structure - Removing only the deck finishes (floor boards, railings, and stairs). We protect the original joists with premium joist tape shielding from moisture increasing longevity, and install a new deck top in pressure treated lumber, cedar, or composite.
Your old boards do not see a landfill — we will up-cycle them on-site into garden boxes and other useful projects - or off-site as concrete forms and bracing materials.
Deck rescue saves approximately 230kg C02 / 100 square feet when compared to an entire rebuild - elminating as much of the shipping and clear cutting as possible!
